Career Compass is a website created by Penn Northwest aimed at aiding high school students in finding local job opportunities. We encourage you to inform your students of the site and familiarize yourself with the options posted in the Local Opportunities section. Once students click on an opportunity they find compelling, they will be taken to the  Student Interest Form. This will collect contact information as well as basic needs for job shadowing pertaining to each student. This information is then sent to the company of their choosing. We aim to connect students with local opportunities that will help guide their journey in discovering a future career. Please make known to your students any specific information you would like them to disclose- for example, if you would prefer their contact information be a school email as opposed to a personal email, please address this. As educators, we ask you to help them in this process with any questions they may have. We hope you find Career Compass to be accessible, but we are always looking for improvements.
